Engaging the community is critical for developing Vision 2050. Since this strategic plan is intended to guide the City over the next three decades, it is crucial that community input is deep, multigenerational, meaningful, and reflective of a variety of community members, regardless of the amount of free time they have to participate in civic events.
To arrive at a Vision 2050 which meets these lofty goals, HR&A and Here LA developed the Vision 2050 Engagement Plan to organize engagement efforts over the second half of 2019.
HR&A developed this plan based on findings from the Civil Society Audit. The Engagement Plan describes a three-phase path to engage community members, organizations, and other interests to lay the foundation for what the City aspires to be in three decades. The Vision 2050 Engagement Plan will be available through the Vision 2050 website once approved by the City Council.
